Vox: Why it’s so hard to make CGI skin look real

Weta Digital’s Nick Epstein and Luxion’s Henrik Wann Jensen reveal in a video for Vox what goes into making realistic-looking CGI skin, as opposed to the wax-like CGI skin seen in past films. The video can be seen at the following link:
