The Digital Fix: Rosa Salazar will fight for Alita 2 “until the end of time”

“I will fight to make Alita 2 happen until the end of time,” Salazar told [The Digital Fix]. “Thanks to performance capture technology, I could do this movie whenever. I could perform this sequel in five years, but I don’t think it should take that long. I think that it’s a story that should continue.”

Disney is the new owner of Alita’s franchise after they purchased it from Fox. Disney owns a lot of SIFI including all of Marvel. They might not make a sequel for Alita for fear that an Alita series / sequel may over shadow all of the junk story’s that Marvel has to offer.

  No, they only own distribution rights. There’s no agenda against Alita at Disney. Disney only cares about money. That’s what it comes down to.
