We are a community of Alita: Battle Angel fans who are dedicated to supporting Alita and Rosa Salazar POSITIVELY. If you want to help Alita get a sequel, the best way to do it is to be vocal, be active, and be positive. Being respectful to other fans and fan bases while using the "#AlitaArmy" hashtag will do #AlitaBattleAngel a lot of good. Alita needs us. We are all she's had for support.

  1. tbh I thought Keean Johnson was such a good fit for Hugo. Aside from the acting, his mere appearance alone was doing justice especially to the Anime. Other than the Anime’s Yugo who was imho reduced to naiveté – not even considering Alita as a love interest – ABA’s Hugo was way more complex. And Keean Johnson did this splendidly. He felt more real. Some ppl on Youtube said the love story didn’t work for them. But in the age of Alita and Hugo love comes easy. Teenagers want to fall in love. (Their brains are programmed to.) Furthermore the movie was packed with exposure, cyborg action and schemeing. Additionally building up a tender love story within this was certainly no easy task. For me it worked – the poetic and tragic ending sets it apart from your average easy action movie. All this thanks to Rosa and Keean (“Thank you… for saving me.” – “I don’t tell you I love you, … because I want you to go on. And I truly want to thank you for the little time we had, and that it changed me.”)
