On December 14, James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez spoke via video conference about Avatar: The Way of Water. At the very end, James Cameron said to Robert Rodriguez, “Hey, let’s make another Alita film.”

About to see Avatar 2 soon, and I expect nothing but ‘rinse and repeat’-Avatar2009. But this is fine. Avatar 3-? are already set, I guess. This means a very occupied James Cameron. Hope Alita2 doesn’t depend to heavily on him.
